Designed and supplied was electro-hydraulic power system for raising and lowering the slide gate with width of 116m and weight of about 2700 tons on turnkey basis. When all resistances and expected ice thickness are counted, the design weight has been defined at 5000 tones. The computer system is based on S7-400, both for working and backup system. Communication between the computer's hardware is done through PROFIBUS-DP, both for working and backup. Within the span of 116 m, the accuracy of achieved synchronous movement is 5 to 20 mm.

Designed and delivered was complete electro hydraulic system for two sector gates and two slide gates, which represent an auxiliary hydro-mechanical equipment for main sector gates with electric motor drive (locomotive). Cylinders for sector gate are delivered together with supports and bearings (cardan joint, universal joint) for sector gates. Each cylinder has an integrated stroke sensor of Balluff type in the piston rod. For each cylinder of sector and slide gate a separate hydraulic power pack was delivered.

4. PUMPING STATION ON THE WEST MORAVA RIVER - SERBIA 2007


Construction of water intake on the Zapadna Morava River was performed, together with pumping station (implementation of Phase II), where hydro-mechanical and electric part was done in Trstenik.
Completely new hydraulic and electrical installation with associated construction works at pump station has been installed.


5. V1-V6 FLOOD PROTECTION OF THE CITY OF SAINT PETERSBURG, RUSSIA 2008


Electro-hydraulic drive is intended for maneuvering 64 segmented gates facility V1-V6, in order to prevent flooding of the city of Saint Petersburg.

New operating units were factory tested and delivered, as well as new control blocks, new electric cubicles and new distribution pipe that are all installed in conjunction with existing-refurbished hydraulic cylinders.
Design, manufacture and supply of electro-hydraulic control system, on-site installation, testing, commissioning as well as on-site theoretical and practical training of the staff has been done. Control blocks allow simultaneous lowering of up to 12 gates providing synchronous movement of cylinders of each gate.

Hydraulic drive is designed to maneuver a slide gate of the exit gate room, as well as to drive the butterfly gate at the exit pipe.

Design, project coordination, production of equipment, factory testing, packing for overseas transport, delivery of equipment and supplies for water pumping tower and exit gate room, as well as delivery of complete technical documentation with instructions to dam GAMGOUM in Tunisia was completed in 2008. Electro-hydraulic equipment was put into operation in 2009 and final handover of equipment was performed.

7. DAM ON RIVER TISA, SERBIA, 2008

General overhaul of hydraulic installation of water lock on the Tisa dam, field number 1, has been performed.
Complete overhaul of hydraulic installations has been undertaken, as follows:

8. DAM “BRESNICA"-PROKUPLJE, SERBIA 2008

verhaul of hydro-mechanical equipment on the water pumping tower and pipe gallery of the slide gate, crane repair, substitution of flat gate NO 800 with butterfly gate NO 800, dismantling of flat slide valves NO 350NP10 (3 pcs) and substituting them with Butterfly gates that are electronically driven, delivery and installation of electric cubicle for gate drive , corrosion protection of equipment in the gallery and water pumping tower (pipeline NO 800 and NO 350, area P = 800M) on dam "Bresnica" - Prokuplje.


9. VOLGA-DON CANAL-VOLGOGRAD, RUSSIA 2009

Electro-hydraulic system for typical slide gate of the water lock for “Volga-Don” canal, complete technical documentation for two variants of the project for driving the slide gate and for control of the movement of slide gate of the water lock have been developed. The project detailed two types of design solutions up to the level of ready documentation for development of electro hydraulic systems. The first variant is based on the use of volumetric damping control and the second variant is based on the use of pumps with constant flow whose operations are controlled through frequency converters. Within project documentation in the part relating to the calculations, the complete simulation of the dynamics of operation of electro hydraulic systems was given for both variants in the MATLAB program package.

The project was submitted for approval to the investor. After verification of the project the production of electro hydraulic control system for operation of safety and working gate of the foundation outlet of the dam "Ourkiss" in Algeria will begin.
Delivery, commissioning and final handover of electro-hydraulic installation was completed in 2011.

The complete technical documentation was drafted for the electric-hydraulic drive for double gates manipulation at lower, middle and upper end of the navigation lock №№30-31 on the „Volga-Don“ canal. A project solution for motion control of the double gates was also developed as a combination volume-throttle control and frequency regulation.

14. NAVIGATION LOCK  “KRASNOGORSK” on the river IRTISH, RUSSIA - 2012


The complete technical documentation was drafted for the electric-hydraulic drive for working and spare double gates and slide gates manipulation of the Krasnogorsk navigation lock. A project solution for motion control of the slide gates was also developed based on volume-throttle control.

Two hydraulic drives at the lower head of the navigation lock  are designed to maneuver slide gates (filling and emptying of the navigation lock chamber), working and spare  double gates.

Two hydraulic drives at the upper head of the navigation lock  are designed to maneuver working double gates.
Design of a new electro-hydraulic control installation has been done, which facilitates easier manipulation of gallery slide gates and double gates.
The drive units and hydraulic cylinders were f
actory tested and delivered, as well as the control blocks, new electric cubicles and new pipe distribution system.
The equipment was delivered in
September 2013.


16. WATER ACCUMULATION  “KRASNODAR”, RUSSIA - 2013


The complete technical documentation was drafted for the electric-hydraulic drive for manipulation of 10 sections of 5 double hook gates for the regulation of water level in the accumulation. A project solution for motion control of the gate sections was developed based on volume-throttle control.

The complete technical documentation was drafted for the electric-hydraulic drive for the ecological lattice which helps fish return upstream to the lake. A project solution for motion control was based on volume-throttle control.

The complete technical documentation was drafted for two hydraulic drives used to maneuver a single gate at the upper head of the lock which enables the filling of naval lock chamber. A project solution for motion control was based on frequency regulation and volume-throttle control.

Two electric-hydraulic drives for the two ecological lattices which help fish return upstream to the lake. One of the drives is movable and is driven by a hydromotor which is a part of the electric-hydraulic drive. Each lattice is driven by 2 hydraulic cylinders with synchronized motion. 4 existing hydraulic cylinders were modified to accomodate encoder-type position sensor with wire rope.


The equipment was delivered in December 2015, and commissioned in December 2016.

Two hydraulic drives is used to maneuver a  single gate at the upper head of the lock which enables the filling of naval lock chamber. Each hydraulic drive is used to maneuver a single hydraulic cylinder. The motion of the hydraulic cylinders is synchronized. The third cylinder is a spare part.

Hydraulic cylinder motion control was based on frequency regulation and volume-throttle control.

The equipment was delivered in November 2016. The commissioning was carried out in April 2017.

The complete technical documentation was drafted for two electric-hydraulic drives for manipulation of a single gate at the upper head of the lock  and for two electric-hydraulic drives for manipulation of a double sector gate and two slide gates which enable the filling and emptying of naval lock chamber at the lower head of the lock.
